So sorry!

I'm so sorry I haven't been writing to you, dear blog! You've missed so much and it's all my fault =( so, on June 27, I'm on facebook and my friend Andrew Dossett convinces me to go to the mall to meet a friend I haven't met in a really long time! Her name is Carli and she's so awesome! I love her =) It was me, Carli, Andrew, Jeffrey, and one of Carli's friends, Hannah. It was awkward that Jeffrey was there because I think he doesn't really like me. Ugh. Oh well. It was still so funny! Yesterday my friend Taylor Dossett invited me over to her house for game night with this boy she really likes. His name is Eric. He's pretty chill and laid back, so I like him! She can't wait for Tyler to get back from his mission though. He's perfect for her! She's DYING to marry a redhead =) haha. I go to EFY in SIXTEEN DAYS!!! I'm riding in the same car with Annie, Scott, Ryan, and Jacob Clay and Cami. It ought to be really interesting. Ryan and I have been texting a lot! It's really cool because him and I don't really talk that much. He texted me like two days ago and then the day before that we were talking. He made me kind of mad though because we went to the movies on Friday with Adam and Klea and we saw Cars 2 (no, it wasn't a double date. At least we didn't mean for it to be.), and then we went to the mall afterwards. Ryan totally ditched us for his retarded friends. It makes me so mad because it's the fact that his friends do bad things that they aren't supposed to.I guess I just have to trust him and know that he won't make the kind of decisions his friends make. It's just sad that he likes to hang out with people like that. Klea is getting on my nerves because she flirts with every single guy she sees. If you're going to have a boyfriend, be committed to THAT boy. Don't go around flirting with every guy at the dances and youth conference that you lay you're eyes on. Poor Adam. He just had to sit there and watch because he doesn't want to break up with her. This is why you don't steady date at sixteen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh she makes me mad sometimes lol. Anyways, yeah that's pretty much all that's happened in the past couple weeks! So excited for EFY to take my mind off of everything =) Only sixteen more days....

{ketchup}

Quote of my day for yesterday:

"These things happen. What other people say doesn't change the way you are. Remember what we always say? It's part of the journey. Life isn't about what happens to you, it's about how you handle what happens."

Quote of the day for today:

"Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly."

{nothing special}

Alright, so this post is nothing special. Just dropping by to show you some new stuff I've learned and to rant. Awesome, huh?? haha. So I learned some new stuff with my hair today! I learned a variation of a Bohemian Braid, and I had already known a type of braid that looked kind of like this, but I think this kind of braid sticks out more in my hair and is more noticeable. I like it a lot and it's super easy to learn.

<---- so that's kinda what it looks like! Like I said, I had already known a variation of this braid before, but I really like this because it's pretty effortless and can look really pretty! Also, something that you can just throw in,  is instead of leaving the excess hair straight (like I did), you can curl it and then it looks super pretty! It looks great both ways, the curling is just an option. But yeah, that's kind of what it looks like. (: Sorry you can't really see it in the second picture! I forgot to take my camera off of manual mode. Hehe. Whoops.

I also learned how to style my bangs (super easy, but sorry, I didn't take pictures of that), and how to do a sort of headband sort of thing. It looks really pretty but I can't explain it.

On another note, the guy I like is gone away at a camp. ): I'm gonna miss him! Haha it's not like we talk that much anyways, but still. I feel like throughout this year and the year before we've gotten a lot closer as friends, which is a good start. (: I'll be sixteen before you know it, and then we'll see what happens. (;

I might be on again to talk some more. I still haven't found my quote for my day today. I'll get to work on that. But in the meanwhile, I'll keep spending some time looking at cute ways to do my hair and listening to music. tralalalala....bye, blogspot. (:

hey all (:

so this is my blog to keep track of the things i learn, whether it's a life lesson or something as simple as learning to fishtail braid my own hair (which i did learn how to do and i'm so SIKED). I plan to keep on learning. And so I want to keep track of everything. Like a journal, accept this is easier for me. One of the things I've learned recently is that you have to learn to let go. You can't care about what people think of you, especially a boy (ladies, you know where I'm comin from). You have to let time take care of everything and everything falls in place for a reason. If it happens, it happens, and you just have to go along with it. That's the craziest part of life. Is that something crazy happens and we can't explain it or ignore it or make it go away. You can either enjoy the ride or be miserable. Just let go, and let God take care of what's supposed to be taken care of. Have faith that He knows what He's doing and that everything will end up working out for you in the end. And if it's not okay, then it's not the end. It's just a lot of things happened over the weekend to help me realize that. And thank you for all my excellent friends who talk to me and keep me SANE. I love you all. (:

<----- my awesome fishtail braid. It took me seriously like fifteen minutes to learn and it's so easy! This is the first time I've ever done it. And sorry, it looked a lot better this morning but throughout the day it got a little messy. Now I need to learn how to French braid and Bohemian braid. You can call me braid obsessed.

The quote of the day today, which is also typed on the photo with me and my friends at the top (you probably can't read it very well, but it's kind of just meant to be there for decoration) is:

"It's been said there's one word that will free us from the weight and pain of life. And that word is love. And I believe that. That doesn't mean it hasn't been hard, or that it won't be. It just means that I've found a stillness and a bravery in myself when I'm with you. You make me brave. And I will love you until the end of time."

I chose that as my quote of the day today because it truly describes me in general. My friends bring out the best in me, and the people around me all help shape and mold who I am truly am. Love is a fire that can never truly die out once it's been started. Even sparks remain. It doesn't mean love isn't hard. Loving anyone can be hard at times, and it probably will always be hard to love some people. That doesn't mean we shouldn't.

And, to leave you, I want you to know that I've been working on sign language. I realllyyy want to learn, and I figure since it's summer and I get bored easily, I might as well learn something useful. The words I know really well so far are Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, Brother, Sister, Boy, Girl, Divorce, Single, Married, Baby, Orange, Green, Blue, Brown, Gold, Silver, Red, and Home. (: I think I'm doing pretty well for my first day!

Well goodnight, all. I'll try to write as often as I can!
